The year is 2010. The place – New York. The man is Arky Levin, a film composer, and there is something weighing on his mind. So he goes day after day to see Marina Abramovic, who is performing The Artist is Present at the Museum of Modern Art.
There is nothing to see; not really. There is but Marina sitting opposite another, both still, both silent. Hour after hour. And yet – Arky, and many others, can’t look away.
I had the great pleasure of talking to Tasmanian author Heather Rose about her new novel The Museum of Modern Love. The first part of our conversation aired on 1 November 2016.
