Stories are a constant in our everyday lives. From that voice on the radio singing about heartbreak to the colleague who tells you about the crazy thing that happened to them over the weekend, they’re everywhere. And we all have our own stories, which we might keep to ourselves or share with a chosen few.
The ACT Storytellers Guild are all about telling stories – true tales and fictional ones – to an audience. The President of the ACT branch, Roslyn Hull, joined me in the ArtSound studio recently and we explored all things storytelling. We discussed what makes a story good, whether anyone can be taught how to be a great storyteller, and much more.
