The Sydney Writers Festival is nearly upon us once again. It’s a week of books, storytelling and ideas. This year, more than 400 Australian and 45 international guests will descend upon Walsh Bay and other locations around Sydney to talk about all things writing related as well as lead workshops in how to write music reviews, graphic novels for children, and more.
With guests ranging from two former Australian Prime Ministers to morticians and doctors-turned-authors, there’s something for all tastes. To explore what’s in store for this year’s festival, and to find out what goes into the production of a festival as large as SWF, I spoke to its artistic director, Jemma Birrell.
The full program is available from the 2015 Sydney Writers Festival website.
